Dr. Muhammad Asif, was born in Gojra, Punjab, Pakistan. He obtained his PhD degree in Electro-Analytical Chemistry from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China in 2017. From Dec 2017-Nov 2020, he worked as a Postdoc in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST) China. Currently, he is working as a Postdoc Fellow in School of Materials Science and Engineering, Wuhan Institute of Technology, Wuhan, China. He is the author, co-author of more than 53 peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals like BB, AC, CEJ, ACS-AMI, Nanoscale, SNB, and Advances in colloid and interface science, with cumulative Impact Factor of 364 and citations over 1200. His current research interests include the design of functional 2D electrocatalysts including LDH, MXene, and Graphene for electrochemical bio(sensors), analytical, environmental and diagnostic applications.
